I had an eye exam at the beginning of November.. Yea, I knew my sight was failing just a tad - "what did that street sign say?".. haha Had problems reading my printouts at work, reading my computer screen at work and I'll just blame my bad aim playing HL2 on the vision problem also! lol Turned out I have 20/30 vision in my right eye (not bad for an old hag) and 20/60 vision in my left eye... just a little blinded on that side..
In my left eye, I've had a "fleck" (as I call it) -been there for as long as I can remember. Doctor calls it a freckle... whatever - it's gold like a fleck of gold in the middle of a blue ocean. Doctor wants to know - "exactly how long have you had this?" .. I respond with "hell if I know! - been there as long as I can remember!"... She asked me to ask my parents... I told her "when you get the number to heaven, let me know and we'll call together!" heh! So anyway, I don't know how long I've had this. No one to ask other than my one living sister who has no clue.
So I see the eye specialist Thursday and see what he thinks of my gold fleck in the middle of the blue ocean .. I was told this could take from 1.5-3 hours, I need a ride due to dilation, numbing and relaxing the eye... and I don't have to go to work after cuz I won't be able to see so good.. Can't work and won't be able to play games at home - what the hell am I going to do with myself for like 3 hours??? haha Hmmm..maybe I'll take my ride to lunch (since she - my oldest - has to get up so early to bring me) ...
I just hope it's nothing serious (can't be, I've had it tooooo long!)! Looking on the bright side! Wait! where is the bright side? (hehe)
