Work BLAH

Here comes the whole work deal....  There are almost 1,000 employees in our New England based company, but only 2 "Corporate Account Specialists" (CAP) - me being one them..  impressive title huh? We have VP's of everything who I know get paid a small fortune, 15 salespeople (which isn't much!) that range from the northern most parts of Maine, up to Burlington VT, out to Buffalo NY and down to Woodbridge NJ and places in between (who get paid ALOT).   Drivers, dockworkers, clerks and managers and supervisors and lots of "titles"!!   LOTS of titles and if you have a title, you are superb!  you are better than the rest! (so many think) ... DUH.. we ALL have a title!!   (jerks)...

You know, there comes a time when titles don't mean "jack" and senority becomes a thing of the past...   and that's where we are now.  The workload keeps growing and growing to a point where you (me that is) tells your boss (the VP of Sales and Marketing) that there isn't enough hours in the day for me to accomplish what you want..      hahaha..    He doesn't care..  "just get it done" ..  No problem.. I get it done.. but me and the other CAP are now behind with all the other reports, etc..    What does one do??    Customers are complaining that their reports aren't on time, etc..   The boss bitches.. what does one do in this situation?   I've tried to tell him that there is ONLY 24 hours in a freaking day!  grrr

I almost walked out (of work) today..  I don't need this crap - I'm 50 years old, been in the trucking business for almost 25 years - give me a break.  The economy sucks right now, but you know what? I've never collected unemployment (not that I want to)...  but maybe it's time while I scope out a new job.hmmm...... lots to contemplate...    But I won't walk out - I'm not that way (as much as liked to be sometimes)...  I'll deal with that SOB when he gets back from his FLORIDA vacation and we'll go from there.   Hey!!! Maybe he can do all these tailor-made reports and deal with the rest of bull that goes on, on a daily basis...   (I'd love to see that!)

Be careful blogging about work P, you don't want to get 'dooced.' But yeah, I hear you about all the work related stress.
